IN reply to your letter of the 24th instant, I have to acquaint you, for the infor- mation of Secretary Sir E. Grey, that the Board of Customs and Excise have requested me to attend on the 3rd proximo as the representative of this Department at the first meeting of the interdepartmental committee for considering the measures to give effect to the International Opium Convention.
